This Nespresso machine by the French designer Charles Teyssier is a simple, yet very complicated looking coffee machine. At the top we find the input for the Nespresso cups, at the left side we can see a water tank with a small plexi in to see the water level and at the right side we can chose wether we want a small coffee or a larger one. This concept seems to remind me of both the coffee machine from Kamil Kurka and the new Dolce Gusto that has been launched recently by Nescafé.

BMW presents to you “Sirena”, based on a 600 $ Saeco machine. It has a 15 bar pump driven stainless steel boiler. It has a dual brew spout which is programmable and two wand’s to switch quickly from frothing to brewing or the other way around. It was designed by the award winning BMW Designworks for Starbucks. An interesting future is the auto-off, which shuts down your machine after being idle for 90 minutes.

Two years after the original launch of the Dolce Gusto espresso machine, Nescafé now launches a very futuristic new one. Prices range from 149,- EUR to 179,- EUR. The espresso machine has a water reservoir capacity of 1,3 litres and should give a constant temperature cup by cup. Pump pressure is up to 15 bar and adjustes automatically in the Nescafé capsule. It is available in red and grey metal, white and anthracite.

Everyone knows the stove pot coffee makers from Bialetti, but not alot of people seem to know about the espresso machine they have made. This is what the Mokona represents. The machine itself works on electrics using a rechargeable battery or an adapter.
