This Nespresso machine by the French designer Charles Teyssier is a simple, yet very complicated looking coffee machine. At the top we find the input for the Nespresso cups, at the left side we can see a water tank with a small plexi in to see the water level and at the right side we can chose wether we want a small coffee or a larger one. (Espresso / Lungo)

This concept seems to remind me of both the coffee machine from Kamil Kurka and the new Dolce Gusto that has been launched recently by Nescafé.

This is a design concept by Kamil Kurka, it looks so damn nice! Hopefully it will become reality in the future, i’d definitely buy one!

Douwe Egberts unveils a conceptual coffee machine, called BeMoved. It is the world’s first coffee machine that can be operated by movement alone, bypassing the need for users actually having to touch it. BeMoved was developed by a small team at the Research & Development department in Utrecht. The project enabled Douwe Egberts to experiment with technology, interactive design and new types of coffee. BeMoved is intended as a source of inspiration for future global innovations in the area of coffee.

Have you ever wondered how a blind person pours water in a glass without spilling? How about filling it 3/4? Use your finger to feel? How about if the water is hot?

This coffee mug has the answer to it. It uses 3 indicative levels on the handle and liquid-level sensors within the mug. The blind people only need to choose their levels and keep pouring till the bell sounds.
